BPD Express does not handle customs clearance of parcels or payment of customs duties in Russia!

If a parcel has arrived in Russia with a customs notification and has been sent back to Germany, the recipient must take the following steps:
If the recipient has not paid the mandatory customs duties in Russia and the parcel has been returned, they should bear in mind that, in addition to the delivery cost already paid, they will have to pay the same amount twice: for the return shipment from Russia to Germany and for the re-shipment of the parcel from Germany to Russia.

Important: Returned parcels remain in storage in Russia and cannot be transferred to us. Reshipment can only be made to the same address or another address specified by the recipient. In this case, the contents of the parcel cannot be divided into several parts or changed.

If the recipient refuses to pay for re-shipping, the parcel will be disposed of unilaterally at the customer's expense, without any compensation or reimbursement for the cost of the contents. The cost of disposal is equal to the cost of delivery of the parcel.

The average time for returning a parcel from Russia to Germany is 30 to 60 days.
