Our company was registered as a private postal operator in Germany in 1992. Since June 2003, BPD-Express has also been registered with the Universal Postal Union in Bern (Switzerland) with its own International Postal Exchange Point. Mail sent through us as a private postal service provider is delivered through our company’s postal network within the CIS territory. We operate in compliance with all the rules of the "Universal Postal Convention".

Today, BPD Express is an international logistics operator serving customers across Europe and the CIS, including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and other countries in the region. We deliver parcels to more than 30 countries, providing an individual approach to every shipment. A PRIVATE COMPANY SINCE 1992

In the 1980s, parcel delivery in the USSR was a real challenge. Sometimes parcels disappeared for months, and sometimes they never reached their recipients at all. In those distant times, there was no WhatsApp, no Telegram, and not even ordinary home phones — means of communication were limited and many people did not have them. With the beginning of the 1990s, an era of profound reforms, there was an acute need for reliable postal services for shipments to the CIS countries. It was a time of change, and Rubin Bankowski, responding to market needs, established Germany's first private postal service provider in October 1992, specializing in parcel delivery to Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.  Emigrants from the USSR became the first regular customers of Gebr. Bankowski. From day one, this new company chose an important motto for itself: simplicity, speed, and reliability. Simplicity meant that customers only had to fill out one form.

And despite the difficulties of the time, the parcel could reach the recipient in just three weeks, delivered by courier as part of an express service. As proof of delivery, a photo of the recipient taken by the courier became a symbol of the company's honesty and responsibility. And all these services were offered at incredibly low prices, making them accessible to anyone looking for a way to connect with family and friends.This story is not just about business, but about people who lived in uncertain times and sought contact, care, and the ability for everyone, even in the most difficult circumstances, to feel the warmth of their loved ones. In a world where technology could not replace human connections, parcel delivery took on special significance, becoming a bridge between hearts separated by distance and time.
