Temporary measures: Ban on imports of animal products from the EU to Russia

BPD Express informs you about new measures introduced by Rosselkhoznadzor in connection with the risk of foot-and-mouth disease spreading in the European Union. In this regard, a ban on imports of livestock products is being introduced.

From January 20, 2025, Rosselkhoznadzor will suspend the certification of all animals susceptible to foot-and-mouth disease, as well as products controlled by state veterinary supervision and produced from these animals. This applies to the movement of goods from the European Union to Russia.
