We continue to share real customer shipping examples to show how delivery with BPD Express works in practice. This time: a parcel sent from Germany to Kazakhstan—similar to Leonid’s experience, where he handed the parcel over at one of our service points located in MIX Markt.

How shipping to Kazakhstan works

The customer prepared the parcel at home, packed it according to the guidelines, and brought it to the nearest drop-off point. In his case, it was a MIX Markt where BPD Express counters are available.

After handing in the parcel, the customer received a tracking number to monitor delivery. The shipment arrived at our central warehouse in Germany, was sorted, and then dispatched to Kazakhstan.

What you can send with BPD Express

Allowed items include:

  • clothing and shoes

  • properly packed personal belongings

  • children’s products

  • accessories and small household items

  • factory-packed sweets, dry food, coffee

What is prohibited

Prohibited items include:

  • alcohol and tobacco products

Proper packaging is the key to safe delivery

Correct packaging is a mandatory requirement for stable and fast delivery to Kazakhstan and other destinations.

Box selection & protecting the contents

  • Use a sturdy box with minimal empty space.

  • Avoid “air gaps”: fill empty space with paper or protective materials.

  • Used boxes are acceptable only if they are strong and undamaged.

  • For valuable items, use a new box sized appropriately for the shipment.

How to use tape correctly

  • Apply tape minimally:

    • on corners

    • along edges

    • crosswise across the center
      This provides sufficient fixation without overstressing the box.

How to label the parcel

You may label it by hand.

Top left:

  • your address

  • your full name (Latin letters)

  • phone number

Bottom right:

  • recipient address

  • recipient full name (in Russian)

  • phone number

After that, the parcel is ready for shipment.

Minimum shipment weight

Minimum parcel weight: 5 kg.
